VILLAGES OF CUENCA. USEFUL INFORMATION
Belmonte

Distance to Cuenca 100 Km
Zone Mancha

This La Manchan town which has been declared of Artistic Historical Importance, is without a doubt one of the great villages in the province of Cuenca. Its original structure has been partially preserved (fragments of the city walls, some of the original doors, medieval-flavored streets), as well as various buildings that continue to embody the noble history the village once lived. A wealth of important ancient civil, military and religious buildings can be found here.
