This is the site of the ancient Iberian city of Egelasta that played a very important role in the design of the network of roads constructed by the Imperial Roman Army. Here, we can find prime examples of the noble architecture of La Mancha, with grand houses, interior patios, iron grillwork on the balconies and more.

- Remains of the Castle and city walls.
- Plaza Mayor and historic building with columns, grand entryway and defensive tower which now houses the local Ayuntamiento.
- Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (17th -18th centuries).
- Palatial house of the Marquis of Melgarejo (17th century), María de Luján House, Aranda House and Queipo de Llano House.
- Shrines of La Concepción (16th century) and San Antón (19th century).
